My name is Damian Salo and I was born and raised outside Cleveland, Ohio. My father taught me a strong work ethic while my mother taught me good morals. After graduating from Bedford High School, I obtained my BA in both Accounting and Finance from Kent State University, and due to the struggling economy, my best friend and I took our chances and settled in New York City. Currently, I work in the field of finance and I am co-owner of Dacia Gallery, which represents emerging and established artists worldwide. It is from my experiences here and from backpacking abroad that I was inspired to write a novel that combines autobiographical stories of friendship, love and fate with a touch of world politics, religion and mysticism. More importantly, I wrote a novel that is true to myself.
